I started this hike at 5am. I started early to avoid the crowds. I ended up going about 8 miles up the trail for a 16-mile day hike. Passed by 10 waterfalls along the way. If you do this hike, go up to at least Tunnel Falls. It was my favorite waterfall in the Columbia River Gorge. Tunnel falls is about 6 miles from the trailhead.
